CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheet. It’s a style sheet language that determines how the elements/contents in the page are looked/shown. CSS is used to develop a consistent look and feel for all the pages.

  1. What is CSS?
    Ans. CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheet. Popular style language used with HTML to design websites. Can be used with any XML scripts that include plain XML, SVG, and XUL.
  2. What is the origin of CSS?
    Ans. SGML is the root of CSS. The language that describes tagging languages.
  3. How to integrate CSS into a web page?
    Ans. There are three ways to integrate CSS into web pages.
    Linearity/Inline – Used to insert style sheets into an HTML document
    Embedded / Internal Method – Used to add a unique style to a single document
    Connected/imported/external – Used when you want to make changes to multiple pages.
